Shirley Tate Gibson was called home to the Lord on Jan. 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olanda B. Gibson, Sr., her parents, Tyree and Gwendolyn Tate, and her brother, Tyree Tate, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are three daughters Laverne Henderson, Rondalyn G. Mills, and Lueretha Dalton; her son, Olanda B. Gibson, Jr.; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeanne Taylor; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
