Ramón A. Gonzalez

Ramon Antonio Gonzalez affectionately called 'Yayo" was born to the late Pablo Salazar and Maria Lastenia Gonzalez, in Barrancas, Venezuela on January 01, 1935. Yayo was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend, Ana Elina, on May 28, 1958, in Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela. He was a devoted husband of 65 years, raising her two children with patience, discipline, and humility. He taught them to read, write, how to love and to be compassionate towards others. Yayo was a fun-loving man with a lot of personality and very little hesitation to speak his mind. Yayo was loved by all who met him. Yayo went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 4, 2023, to be reunited with the love of his life who passed away 2 years to the date of his passing. Yayo was preceded in death by two of his siblings: Moncha, and Jesus Gonzalez. Yayo's legacy will be carried on by his son and daughter-in-law Carlos and Julie Gonzalez, his daughter and son-in-law, Aneyra and Omar Bouquet, his daughter Eirini Marcano Gonzalez, his sister Felicita Gonzalez, and her husband Oswaldo Vera, his sister-in-law Alicia Gonzalez and his grandchildren Carlos (Pepe), Carla Carolina, Ian Carlos, Jose Ramon, and Sebastian. Yayo was a great grandfather to Kylie, Adrianna, Dominic, Amelia, Kalani, Elena, Felicity, and Natalia. Yayo was the best uncle to Silvia Rios Gonzalez, Ana Pompermair, Rosita Gonzalez, Consuelo Gonsalves, Mary Gonzalez, Ana Maria Gonzalez and many more nieces and nephews, with a long list of friends all around the world such as Alberto & Rosa Pernalette, Andres Melo, Mauricio & Rosa Argelia, Donald & Jill Speights and Yanira Mendoza, Kathy & Rafael Collado, and the Baez Girls. Yayo fue bendecida con una familia numerosa y amorosa. Se casó con su mejor amiga, Ana Elina, el 28 de mayo de 1958, en Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela. Fue un esposo devoto durante 65 años, que crio a sus dos hijos con paciencia, disciplina y humildad. Les enseñó a leer, escribir, amar y ser compasivos con los demás. Yayo era un hombre amante de la diversión, con mucha personalidad y muy pocas dudas a la hora de decir lo que pensaba. Yayo era querido por todos los que lo conocieron. Yayo regresó a casa para estar con su Señor y Salvador el 4 de octubre de 2023, para reunirse con el amor de su vida quien falleció 2 años después de la fecha de su fallecimiento. A Yayo le precedieron en la muerte dos de sus hermanos: Moncha y Jesús González. El legado de Yayo será continuado por su hijo y nuera Carlos y Julie González, su hija y yerno Aneyra (Annie) y Omar Bouquet, su hija Eirini Marcano González, su hermana Felicita González y su esposo Oswaldo Vera, su cuñada Alicia González y sus nietos Carlos (Pepe), Carla Carolina, Ian Carlos, José Ramón y Sebastián. Yayo fue bisabuelo de Kylie, Adrianna, Dominic, Amelia, Kalani, Elena, Feliciti y Natalia. Yayo fue el mejor tío de Silvia Ríos González, Ana Pompermair, Rosita González, Consuelo Gonsalves, Mary Gonzalez, Ana María González y muchas más sobrinas y sobrinos, con una larga lista de amigos en todo el mundo como Alberto y Rosa Pernalette, Andrés Melo, Mauricio & Rosa Argelia, Donald & Jill Speights y Yanira Mendoza, Kathy & Rafael Collado y las Báez Girls.
