Louise Sutton

The beloved Mrs. Louise Sutton, 93 of Jacksonville FL, passed from this life into eternal life Thursday, October 21, 2021. She was born to the late George Eley and Lottie Eley-Robinson, October 10, 1928, in Portsmouth, Virginia. Louise was educated through the Portsmouth school system. Having an undeniable love for Christ Jesus, she was baptized in 1990. Her love for gospel music filled her heart and soul for many years. Louise married the late Charlie H. Sutton July 20, 1952 and was married for 53 years. Together they formed a blend that consisted of five children. She leaves to cherish her memory, her four children: two sons, Charlie Sutton Jr. and Abdul M. Shabazz of Portsmouth, VA; two daughters, Dorothy M. Sumner of Portsmouth VA, and JoeAnn S. Primous (Ronald) of Jacksonville, FL; five sisters, one brother, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Louise was predeceased by her loving husband Charlie H. Sutton, daughter Jacqulyn S. Briggs and a host of other relatives and friends. Louise was a passionate caregiver. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her family and friends. Her enormous strength came from her faith in Christ and a strong fighter she was. In her response, she would say, “You got that right!”
