Lorin Thomas Hardy

Lorin Thomas Hardy, 49, also known as "Lo" slipped quietly into eternal rest at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center on December 23, 2021. Lorin was born on July 18, 1972 to Margaret Person and Thomas Hardy, Jr., in Portsmouth, Virginia. After graduating from high school in 1990, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy for three years. At an early age, Lorin joined St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Portsmouth, Virginia. He is survived by his father Thomas Hardy, Jr. and mother Margaret Person; six daughters: Aunesia, Nakeya, Keshauna, Jamya, Laila and Laurin; and one grandson Adrian. Lorin also leaves behind a brother, David Person, Sr. (Diane); two sisters: Cassandra Britt and Sabrina Carigo; two aunts: Emma Johnson and a devoted and loving aunt Elizabeth Bowen; two uncles: Robert Lucas, Sr. (Gloria) and Arthur Lucas, Sr.; four nieces, two nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
