Jacqueline Yvonne Bunch

Jacqueline “Jackie” Yvonne Bunch was born on January 14, 1963 in Norfolk,Virginia to the late Basil Brooks Jr. and Eula Brooks. Jacqueline was married to the late Dennis James Bunch Sr. Jacqueline was predeceased by her brother Major Brooks. Jacqueline was raised in Norfolk, Virginia although she enjoyed her summers in Chesapeake,Virginia with her dear Aunt Katie and other family members on Seven Eleven road. She graduated from Norview Highschool in Norfolk,Virginia. Jacqueline later attended Norfolk state university where she studied in home economics. At age 16 she started her first job at the Norfolk Naval Base Naval Supply Center as an office assistant. She also had other employments with Albano Cleaners and Apco, with her final place of employment being with Affordable Bridal and Tuxedo with her health requiring her to retire as a head seamstress for over twenty-five years of service. This is where she demonstrated her career passion as a custom designer. Jacqueline is known for exquisite talents creating custom apparel such as prom dresses, tuxedo vest, neck ties and cummerbund. Not only was Jacqueline an extraordinary seamstress she also showcased her creativity by being a wedding planner/ director, and interior designer. In her own right Jacqueline was a diva/ fashionista, which no one could contest. She was a lifetime devoted member of Pleasant Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church and served as a Missionary and choir member. Jacqueline was a loving, caring , kind soul who extended her helping hand to those in need. To include her mother, sisters , brothers, aunts,uncles, cousins , niece, nephews and friends. In her leisure time Jacqueline enjoyed being a team- mom, going on road-trips, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her three daughters Tiffany Perry (Cornell), Brittany Bunch, and Tiara Bunch and one son Dennis Bunch Jr. and a cherished adopted son Raine Reed III. Two sisters Cynthia Epps(Linwood) and Tangee Gray, three brothers Walter Brooks ( Michelle), Maurice Brooks (Yvette), and Ravius Brooks and an endeared cousin who she regarded as a sister Joanne Baker. Five granddaughters Z’mira, Breanna, Breonna, Tamya, and Skylar Rae. Two grandsons D’nardo and Dakota. One aunt Sylvella Riddick and a special cousin to who is regarded to as an aunt Rosa Johnson. A multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
