Isaac Ezekiel Cooper, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Isaac E. Cooper Jr was born in Norfolk, Virginia on November 17, 1951, to Isaac E. Cooper Sr. and Doris L. Purdie. He the oldest son of three sisters and two brothers. In 1969, Isaac graduated from Crestwood High School in Chesapeake, VA. Soon after attended Norfolk State University. In 1970 he joined the United States Air Force, serving four years receiving an Honorable Discharge. In 1975, he joined the Chesapeake Police Department, where he served as a dedicated Public Safety Officer. Retiring as a Detective after more than 25 years of service. Soon after joining the Police Department, he Married the love of his life Vivian McInnis. Through their union two children were born Stephanie and Monica and he gained two Stepdaughters Marion and Enda. On Sunday June 5, 2022, our Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend Isaac E. Cooper Jr. was called home to be with the Lord where he gained his wings. Isaac was a great husband to his wife whom which he has been with for over 50 years. He Loved his girls and his Son Terrance and all of his Grand and Great-grand kids. He will be deeply missed by his entire Family. Isaac is predeceased by his Parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Cooper, and five children Marion Hawkins (Charlie), Enda Blow, Stephanie Cooper-Davis (Anthony), Monica Cooper, Terrance Grimes. Six-teen grandchildren Terrell, Derrick, Breanna, Richard, Tashia, Gavin, Brandon, Michaela, Trashaun, Terrance Jr., Seth, Korie, Curtis, Shy’an, Jeremiah and Marquan. Eleven Great-grand Imony, Zymere, Kyi, L’Vante, Layla, Josiah, Ajohnee, Isaac Jr., Jayce, Legacy, and Landen. His three sisters DiAnne Montgomery, Darlene Chapman, Daretta Giles (Michael), His two brothers George Cooper (Cynthia), Garland Cooper (Caressa), and a Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
