Eunice Elizabeth Hall Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Eunice Elizabeth “Neal” Hall was born March 14, 1937 in a small town called Huntersville, a proud and vibrant community in Suffolk, Virginia to Ralph Freeman Sr. and Gracie Ward. She was the fourth of thirteen children. Eunice was educated in the local school system. She later married her sweetheart Lester Hall, Sr. Through her mother, Gracie, Eunice was led down a pathway of devout faith and love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At the age of thirteen, she joined Little Grove Baptist Church in Suffolk, Virginia and that next year was baptized. Eunice actively served in the church ministry for 40 years. She served in many capacities as she was an alumni member of the Women Usher Board, Missionary, and Friendship Savings Club, and volunteered with the LGBC capacity needed. She extended this same effort in her community as well. Though, not directly coordinated, she participated in the Liston Lane Annual Block Party where community members from the past come home to visit and celebrate with present members. Eunice retired from General Electric Television as Plant Supervisor after 22 years of faithful service. After retirement, she continued as a private home health aide for 15 years. Eunice still enjoyed her pastime hobbles of sewing, spending time with her family and maintaining her flower beds while keeping her lawn a beautiful emerald green. Left to cherish her memory are her 6 children, Gerald Hall, Evora Hall Stewart, Todd Hall (Rhonda), Michelle Hall, Lester Hall Jr., and Tavita Neal; her nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins. Her surviving siblings include Ricky Scott, Theodore Scott, Graline Scott, and Winfred Freeman (Lois). Preceding her to glory, are her beloved, Lester Hall, Sr. and her son, Tyrone Hall; her parents, Gracie Ward Scott and Ralph Freeman, Sr.; her siblings, George Banks (Mary), Herbert Porter (Ethel), Eula Neal, Edith Eason (Chris), Bernard Scott (Lorene), Rudolph Scott (Lila), Janet Eley (Donnell), Theatta “Isis” Scott.
