Elvin Thomas Battle

Elvin Thomas Battle was born on February 17, 1964. He transitioned on Friday, March 4, 2022, to be with the Lord. He was educated in the Portsmouth Public School System. Elvin was a person who would always have you laughing. Elvin loved his family dearly and enjoyed life. Elvin was baptized and became a member of Third Baptist Church. He loved boxing and helping out his friends. Elvin loved to entertain others by dancing, singing and would literally have you in tears from laughing so hard at him! His personality allowed him to have an optimistic view of life no matter the hardships and struggles that he faced. He definitely touched many lives. Elvin was predeceased by his parents, Father, Thomas Battle and Mother, Mary Battle, several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Unique L. Bradley; Special Friend, Pamela Bradley; three sisters, Patrice Smallwood, Denise Barrett and Charmise Pierce (Franklin) all of Portsmouth, VA. He also leaves a very special and devoted friend, Kevin Pope of Baltimore, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Elvin will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him!
