Barbara D. Owens Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Barbara Dianne (Stabler) Owens, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Norfolk, Virginia at 9:26 pm surrounded by her family. She was born on October 21, 1946, in St. Agnes Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Robert Theodore Stabler and Edna Louise (Howett) Stabler. She is survived by her four children, Kim (Shawn) Hess, Kelly Cuci, Sean (Aileen) Owens and Michelle (Louis) Mills; eight grandchildren, Christian Owens, Meagan (Peter) Interlante, Shane (Lauren) McClung, Kaitlyn (John) Newsom, Nicholas Cuci, Victoria Mills, Airalyn Owens and Aidan Owens; two great-grandchildren, Noah Anthony Interlante, and baby Gabriella Interlante due later this year. She is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Alyssa and baby Interlante. She enjoyed entertaining friends and was very active in her children’s school activities when they were younger. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed listening to music, her favorite being Kenny Rogers. She enjoyed watching Family Feud, visiting with her family, and frequent trips to the mall to shop and get the newest scent at Bath & Body Works. No matter who she met or came across she always made a lasting impression. She was an amazing mother who always took care of her children. We all take away amazing memories that we shared with her throughout the years. She will forever be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be announced for a later time. Remembrances can be made in memory of Barbara Owens to the American Red Cross, American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
