Marilyn A. Conner

Marilyn A. Conner was born Marilyn Alberta Freeman to the late Louise Freeman and Edwin Freeman in ST. Thomas VI. At the age of 7yrs young Marilyn and her mother Louise Freeman moved to the United States, Bronx N.Y. Marilyn completed her education and confessed to Chris. Thereafter, she became employed at the Daughter's Of Jacob nursing home facility in Bronx N.Y. While employed at Daughter's Of Jacob nursing facility she met Willie E. Conner the 2nd and they fell in love. They married and began a family of four children. Patricia, Willie the 3rd, Elizabeth and Addie. Also resulting in two granddaughters named Dekeyia and Renata. Marilyn also has four siblings that she loved very dearly. Two sisters, Ina Freeman and Marion Pointer. She has two brothers, Lloyd Watts and Ulric Watts. Marilyn has several nieces and nephews and two brother in-laws that she adores. As Marilyn's life prospered she began a new chapter of employment with Lord's and Taylor's located at Fifth Avenue New York, NY. She enjoyed her time with this employer and retired after completing 38yrs. Marilyn received a diamond star plate award and made many friends. After retiring at age 65, Marilyn began a long road of illnesses and decided to relocate to Connecticut to live with her daughter and son In-law Patricia and Anthony McFadden in 2008. She was very happy to have made this choice because they always took family vacations together in the past. Disney, Universal Studios and many trips to the casinos. Fox Woods, Mohegan Sun and Atlantic City. As the years moved on and the snow storms grew more aggressive each year. They all agreed to move to Virginia in 2015. This was also one of Marilyn A. Conner's favorite vacationing places. Marilyn bought laughter and happiness to those who had the pleasure of meeting her. She had a huge kind character that lifted people where ever she went. One of her best friends was Ms. Mary Weeks. They have a friendship that most would treasure and their friendship is one that will last forever. They spoke on Marilyn's last day on God's earth and they will meet again in God's kingdom. Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep Do not stand on my grave and weep because I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle Autumn's rain. When you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave And cry.
