Rondell T. Davis, Sr,

Rondell T. Davis, Sr was born to Mrs. Karen Johnson and the late Robert Earl Davis, Sr. on July 28, 1979. He grew up in the small town of Cuthbert, Georgia. He found Christ at a young age and joined Mitchell Grove Baptist Church. He graduated 5th in his class from Randolph-Clay High School in 1997. This is where he met his high-school sweetheart and wife Jameeca Foster. Rondell always had a love for numbers and computers. He received a scholarship to attend Norfolk State University where he participated in DNIMAS (Dozoretz National Institute for Minorities in Applied Science). He graduated from Norfolk State with his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 2003. This is where he joined Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He made several lifelong friends there that he considers family. He is the proud father of two children, Gabrielle M. Davis and Rondell T. Davis, II. Rondell entered into Holy Matrimony with his wife Jameeca on October 1, 2016 here at Macedonia Baptist Church. Rondell worked for the Navy, first as a pipe fitter and later as a Computer Scientist. It took a while, but he found his place with his team at work. Rondell loved football, grilling, and being with his family. He was working on starting a business and had just finished writing a children’s book. He was preceded in death by his loving Grandmother Earnestine Johnson, Sister Contrania Price, Father-in-law Lawrence Dotson, Aunt Lois Brown, Uncles: Carl Davis, Jr., Carver Davis, Willie James Davis, cousins Donnie Johnson and Natesha Johnson. Rondell leaves several to mourn his loss; his wife Jameeca Davis, children Gabrielle and Rondell Davis II, mother Karen Johnson, mother-in-law Eunice Dotson, Sisters – Akia Smith (Antoine), Deborah, Pamela. Brothers – Taurus Johnson (Lenola), Antoine Johnson, Stacy Davis. Aunts – Beldra Ann Johnson, Linda King, Evelyn (Joe) McDonald, Colivious Engram, Theresa Ann Davis, Bobby Jean Davis. Uncles – Calvin Davis, Billie Joe Davis, John Davis (Gwen), Tyrome Davis, and Oscar Foster, Jr. (Annette). Nieces – Shaniqua Powell, Treyonna Bailey, Shakira Bryant, Kelis Green. Nephews – Thomas J. Bailey, III, Matthew T. Ambers-Johnson, Jaqueze Smith, Cameron Smith, Jada Johnson, and Emeri Hooker, his best friend Jerome Murphy, line brothers, and a host of cousins, friends, and co-workers.
