A Jewel from God, Jessica Anne- Marie Ayers. We’ll start with a little of her life’s story to bring comfort to you as an anecdote for all your tears. Laughter was a signature clue that Jessica was in a room. She would brighten your day with smiles and hugs as she greeted you. Born in Philadelphia PA, her family moved to Virginia in 1994. In her adulthood Jessica resided in Norfolk VA. The milestones of Life that Jessica accomplished were done with determination and in the spirit of excellence. Walk with us as we share some of Jessica’s favorite things to do. Maybe you were part of these special moments with her. Jessica loved to write poems, watch movies, planning parties, cooking, taking pictures, doing someone’s hair, arts & crafts, coloring (she would buy all types of markers and pens) and enjoying pouring her Love into numerous of children. One of her accomplishments was being awarded teacher of the year at La Petite Academy educational daycare. Singing on the praise team was a joy for her. Jessica’s life sparkled and she loved out loud in a huge way that affected all that she came into contact with. Yes unique, as a designed jewel from heaven. While she was a child, Jessica accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord. As an adult she loved Jesus as her Lord with all her heart. She knew what it was to give her all, with LOVE. Nothing has changed with Jessica’s love just her location! The comforting assurance stands with a written Word from John 11:25-26. “Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die: and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” Keep in Prayer her Family and Friends, as we all have to learn to resolve and embrace her absence from this earth. Mother-Patricia Anne Campbell /Stepfather -Talib Campbell Father-Sir Edward Steven Thomas Sr. Siblings- Sister: Dominique Renee Sanderson, Brother: Sir Edward Steven Thomas Jr. Children- Daughter: Anyah Elisha Thomas, Son: Thomas Uriah Deshon Ayers Two Nephews & One Niece, Maternal Grandparents: Patricia Anne Allen & John Robert Allen III (recently passed Mar. 29, 2024), Paternal Grandparents: both living, Curtis Uriah Ayers, Many Close Cousins, Aunts and Uncles from both sides, Stepbrothers, stepsisters and one half-brother, A Loving Church Family and a multitude of Friends and Co- workers. The Lord greeted Jessica with words that we all long to hear: “Well, done my good and faithful servant.” I don’t fake my lifestyle, I have good days bad days, broke days paid days, BUT everyday I pray & keep going (A quote that Jessica posted on social media that captures her mindset) Memorial Service and Repass will be held on April 25, 2024 at 1650 General Booth Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
