Charles H. Morgan Jr.

On Tuesday evening, June 16,2020, God summoned the Angels of Goodness and Mercy to escort our father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin home to his eternal rest. Charles Henry Morgan, Jr. was born in Portsmouth, VAonSunday,July27, 1969 to Mildred Plummer Morgan, Charles H. Morgan, Sr. Affectionately called "Lil Charles and PTown Charlie" by those who knew and loved him, he was educated in Portsmouth Public Schools and received a diploma in Maritime Painting and Sandblasting from S.H. Clarke Vocational Training Center in June of 1989. He was employed at the former Gwaltney Plant and the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, both located in Portsmouth, VA, BAE Systems in Norfolk, VA and lastly, BAE Systems in Jacksonville and Tampa, Fl He was recently laid off and returned home to care for his mom. Lil Charles never met a stranger and had the heart for anyone. He always kept in touch with those he loved and cared for. He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan and would let you know itl !! In fact, Charles and his first cousin, Kevin "Bit" Dolberry traveled to see the Cowboys play often. His UNCONDITIONAL love for people was genuine and you knew it. To cherish and honor his legacy are three daughters, Shekerra D. Snipe, Keshara Cobb McCoy (Brandon) Camay Adamson; three sons, Charles Deshawn Ward, Trevon D. Morgan and [avon Thomas; stepson, Lil Rob Adams; stepdaughter, Ianae Adams; grandchildren, Iayden, Desmond and Kayden McCoy, Iailyn Snipe; parents, Mildred P. Morgan Bell and Charles H. Morgan, Sr.; sister, Sharon Morgan Bailey; brother, Herbert A. Morgan, Sr.; special friend, Tammy Cobb, nieces, Chardonay L. Reid and Serena Morgan; nephews, Lionell Bailey and Herbert A. Morgan, Jr.; aunt, Cecelia Dolberry Whitehead (Michael);Uncles, Earl Scarborough, Stanley Morgan, Ir., and Maurice D. Robinson; godfather, Jerome Patterson; a special cousin that was a brother to him, Kevin "Bit" Dolberry (Kim); special brothers, Gerald Savage, Robert "Bobby" WaTson, William "Billy" Watson and William "Billy" Jordan and numerous others, cousins and friends. Lil Charles was predeceased by his son Charles H. Morgan III who was Keshara's twin; grandmothers, Theresa Plummer Futrell and Mary Della Morgan, grandfathers, Stanley Morgan, Sr. and Thomas Otis Hardy; uncles, Curl A. Morgan and Herbert L. Kiah.
