Suffolk-Alissa Michaun Johnson, 25, of the 200 block of Lewis Avenue departed this life on Monday, July 19, 2010. She was born in Portsmouth, VA and graduated from I. C. Norcom High School. Alissa was employed as a Team Leader with Walgreens Store. She loved the beach, playing music, dancing and just being with family.
Alissa leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Wendy Johnson; a sister, Ruthellen Johnson; and a brother, Tyras Briggs. Also left to cherish her memories are three nephews; Keontae McKoy, Tishawn Jenkins, Keishawen Jenkins; a neice; Ananda Ellis; and the dog; Duke. Alissa will also be missed by her aunts; Linda Dunbar, Gwendolyn Wynn, Midori Briggs, Carol McCall and Lona Briggs; and her uncles; Clarence Briggs Jr, James Briggs and John Briggs.
