Portsmouth - Lula Mae Rogers, “Aunt Lula”, of the 2400 block of Cutherell Street, went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2010 in her home surrounded by loving family. She was blessed to live 102 years.
Mrs. Rogers leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Barbara Parker; two grandchildren, Robin Parker and Brandon White. She also leaves to cherish her memories a great-grandchild, Jewell Parker and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake, VA. A life celebration service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Holy Trinity Church #1, 3611 Thorne Avenue, Portsmouth, with Bishop Carroll Frederick officiating. The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements
