Portsmouth-Cleveland Spruill, also known as Cle, 75, of the 800 block of Bold Street, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 24, 2010.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters; Cleo Barringer, Rosalyn Jenkins and Kimberly McQuillia; a son, Marlon Mackey. He also leaves to cherish his memory a sister, Sarah Boone; a brother, Lynn T. Spruill; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 28, 2010 at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 2111 High Street, Portsmouth with Pastor Gregory E. Yancey, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk. The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements.
