Portsmouth-Stephen C. Smith, Sr., also known as Bo, 63, of the 5800 block of Fawkes Street, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 17, 2010. He was retired from Virginia Chemical Corporation. Stephen was also a member of Grove Baptist Church.
Viewing will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 12 noon at Grove Baptist Church, 5910 West Norfolk Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements. The family will assemble at 5910 Eric Street, Portsmouth.
