Portsmouth-Ricardo Keith “Prime Time” Pittman, 42, of the 2500 block of Bird Lane, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Ricardo was a member of New Mount Olivet Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He was employed as a truck driver with Chesapeake Service System, Inc.
Ricardo leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Angela Pittman; a daughter, Makeva Smith; three stepchildren, Quieana, Jasmin, and Aleesia Faison, his mother, Ruthie Pittman; four sisters; Carolyn Pittman, Cynthia Basnight, Jacqueline Roberts and Twanda Pittman and four brothers; Milton Jones, Vernon Pittman, Gregory Pittman and Tyrone Powell. Also left to cherish his memories are a grandchild, Malasya Jones and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and a special friend, Valencia.
Viewing will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm on Friday, May 14, 2010 at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at New Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 1000 County Street, Portsmouth with Pastor Milton Blount officiating. Interment will be at Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. The family has entrusted
J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements.
