Portsmouth-Christine Lewis, 41, of the 900 block of Lake Village Drive, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 6, 2010. Christine was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Christine leaves to cherish her memories two sons; Reginald Lewis and Terrell Lewis; a sister, Cynthia Lewis; four brothers; Charles Lewis, Reginald Lewis, Anthony Lewis and Emanuel Lewis. Also left to cherish her memories are her foster mother, Vanessa Taylor, foster father, Belton Taylor, Sr., two brothers; Belton Taylor, Jr. and Braxton Taylor and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Christine was predeceased by her mother, Vearline Wright and a brother, William Lewis.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 4 pm until 7 pm at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services at the funeral home. The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements. Interment will be at Carver Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk.
