Chesapeake - Pauline Creech who was affectionately known as Line, 93, of 900 block of Sir Lancelot Drive, was called home to be with her Savior on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Mrs. Creech was born in Henry County, VA to the late John Hairston and Lucy Preston Hairston. She worked as a housewife. Mrs. Creech was preceded in death by four sisters; Hattie Flood, Francis Banks, Nora Edwards and Amanda Dodson; eleven brothers, Henry Hairston, Mitchell Hairston, Milton Hairston, Ballard Hairston, George Hairston, Jonas Hairston, James Hairston, Moses Hairston, Howard Hairston, Jessie Hairston and James Hairston.
Mrs. Creech leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Mrs. Pauline V. Forbes; grandchildren, Kevin, Kellie, and Krista Forbes and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Adrian, and Jasmine Lamb and Justin and Jayden Williams. Mrs. Creech is also survived by a loving sister, Lucy Moon.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 4 pm until 7 pm at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Hwy., 1080 N George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the funeral home with Minister Krista Forbes officiating. The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements.
