Suffolk - Freda Eloise Robinson, 56, of Suffolk, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 5, 2010. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia. Freda was employed by General Electric and Newport News Shipbuilding. She was a member of the Mercy House Church of God in Monroe, NC.
Freda leaves to cherish her memories her spouse, Theodore “Roc” Robinson; a daughter, Fenicia Burden and a step daughter Sabrina Alexander. Also left to cherish her memories are four sisters; Gladys Wagner of Norfolk; Joe Ann Alexander (Willie) of Chesapeake, Alvan Vann (Arthur) of Portsmouth ad Sherry Shamlee (Karl) of Spanaway, WA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held from 4 – 7 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake, VA. A life celebration service will be held 11am on Friday, February 12, 2010 at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church 2714 Frederick Blvd., Portsmouth where the pastor is Bishop Curtis Edmonds. Reverend Clarence Sykes will be the eulogist. Burial will be in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery, Suffolk. The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements.
