Portsmouth-William E. “Rickey” Drew, 60, formerly of the 2100 block of Des Moines Avenue, departed this life on Saturday, January 16, 2010.
William leaves to cherish his memories one daughter; Shirleen Drew-Davis; a sister, Gail Jones; and a brother, Barry Drew. Also left to cherish his memories are four grandchildren, one great grandchild, a special friend, Eleanor Smith , a blended family, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A life celebration service will be held 11am on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at First Baptist Church Camelot, 1008 Sir Lancelot Drive, Chesapeake, VA with Pastor Cecil Wicker officiating. The interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at 104 Cavalier Blvd.
The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N George Washington Hwy, Chesapeake with the final care arrangements.
