Portsmouth - Stanley Parker, 47, was called home by God on Jan 3, 2010. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 7, 1962. Mr. Parker was a Drywall mechanic who helped build communities in VA and NC. Stanley was predeceased by his father, William E. Locke. Stanley is survived by his very special, loving friend, Alnita Newby and sons, Miguel Newby and Donrell Oketokun, his mother, Carloyn Parker-Nolen, grandmother, Lucille Parker; brother, Garney Nolen; sister, Crystal Nolen, nephew, Stanley Nolen, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Viewing will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 4 – 7 pm at J T Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 11am at the funeral home.
