Chesapeake - James Curtis Robinson, Jr., also known as Pops, 70, of the 800 block of Heidi Drive, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2009. He was born in Richmond, VA to the late James C. Robinson Sr. and Goldie May Williams. James worked as an electrician for over 10 years with MCV Hospital in Richmond,VA.
James is predeceased by his wife Sarah Robinson and a son, Anthony Pine.
four daughters; Arlene Robinson, Sarah Navarro, Vicky Blunt, and Bonnie Pine; two sons, James C. Robinson, III and Ronald Pine. Also left to cherish his memories are four sisters, Bessie Wharem, Susan St. John, Lucille Harris and Marion Stroud; a brother, Thomas Robinson; twenty grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; his in-laws, Janice Robinson, Juan Navarro, William Watford, and Tommy Blunt. James will also be missed by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 1 pm until 4pm on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at
J. T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. The life celebration service will begin at 6pm on December 31, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will be private. The family has entrusted J. T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements.
